Tayyab Zafar Student in the Spotlight

Tayyab Zafar | Class VI-Pink | Beaconhouse Walton Campus

Lahore: Beaconhouse Walton Middle School star athlete Tayyab Zafar is from Class VI-Pink. Tayyab, a cricketing prodigy, participated recently in the Ramada Under-13 Five-Nation T-20 Trophy held at Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman and was one of the 13 children selected from all over Pakistan. Teams from India, UAE, Sri Lanka and England were the other participants.

Our all-rounder student made his country proud by scoring 85 runs and taking seven wickets in four matches. A member of the Abdul Qadir Cricket Academy, Tayyab shared his take-away from this event by stating that he attained the valuable experience of playing against different leading cricketing nations on international turf, handling match pressure and playing under floodlights. This experience helped him gain more confidence and he is now ready to face greater challenges in his future.

His message to other budding cricketers like him is to always avail such opportunities as they can teach many valuable lessons. Tayyab is the pride of Beaconhouse Walton Campus and we wish him success in his cricketing career and a bright future in both, sports and academics!
