Job Description:
  • Adhere to and support board policy, school guidelines, administrative rules and directives.
  • Make him/herself available to all students seeking guidance and counseling services.
  • Advocate on behalf of the student and/or his/her family. Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students.
  • Facilitate outreach efforts to provide services to students, parents/guardians and staff.

Job Description:
Application Development

• Research and propose various viable courses of action that may be implemented in lieu of new user requirements received.
• Propose the platforms, software and technologies to be employed.
• Design User Interface mock-ups based on approved action plan for further approval from relevant department and supervisor.
• Convert project specifications, using flowcharts and diagrams, into actual code, on the Development Server.
• Once the application is developed, or when a portion is developed, coordinate with Team Lead for testing and incorporate any observations / recommendations provided.
• Conduct thorough testing while writing the code.
• Provide training and support to users, as and when required.

Maintenance & Support

• Based on information received on problem solving from immediate supervisor, review and study the application.
• Understand and read the code of the application.
• Diagnose and rectify errors in script.
• Test program fully to determine its operational reliability.
• Inter-department coordination for provision of support and problem resolution in relevant modules/applications.
• Communication with Branches to provide application support.
• Once finalized forward to supervisor, where required, to upload the application onto the Live Server.
