    Job Description:

      School Improvement Plan:
    • Based on SIP received from School Heads, review and analyse the SIP before the new academic year starts
    • Attend the end of year meeting of School Improvement Plan with Group Heads including all SHs, School Group Heads, Academic Managers, and Financial Analysts
    • Evaluate the SIP along with Schools Head according to the School Group Offices by reviewing School Evaluation Unit feedback reports, parent’s feedback, teacher’s feedback, students’ recommendations, and all relevant stakeholders
    • Note all the commonly agreed targets for the new academic year
    • Ensure all new initiatives and plans are implemented and monitored on a monthly basis
    • Liaise with SHS & SGH and Regional Office for providing support in implementation plan of SIP
    • Evaluate key positions providing clarity of roles, functions, goals and accountability for the SIP
    • Monitor the progress and professional development for all academic staff
    • Interview all the new hires for the School Group
    • Trainings Management:
    • Based on TNA conducted by Curriculum Coordinator, observations made by CC and SEU, feedback of teachers by SH, training needs are identified
    • Develop the budget with CC, SGH to calculate the estimated cost for the training
    • Develop the training schedule with GDT/CC; liaise with SH, to share the schedule of the training
    • Ensure effective implementation of trainings
    • If required, go on site and observe the training and its impact
    • If required, research and develop trainings, training material for SH
    • Conduct SIP and language teaching trainings
    • Evaluate the trainings with CC, decide the follow-up action plans and, how to go about them
    • Teaching Practices and Classroom Management:
    • Liaise with SH to gather requirements for providing support to teachers
    • Assist teachers either new or experienced in providing assistance regarding subject matter or teaching techniques
    • Ensure that CCs conduct where required, co-planning and co-teaching activities throughout the year to teachers who need assistance
    • Ensure that CCs visit schools and observe teachers, according to the areas of development assigned to them
    • Ensure the CCs have made a report of teachers after every visit, share the report with relevant SH
    • Curriculum Implementation and Policy Management:
    • Liaise with Manager Curriculum and Deputy Director Curriculum at HO to incorporate changes in curriculum and training material
    • Ensure trainings offered by the various Manager Curriculum are timely cascaded in the schools and relevant support is provided to the teachers
    • Chair promotion meetings with the SGH and SH according to the APPM
    • Liaise with SGH and SHs for initiating any new languages/ subjects
    • Team Management:
    • Recruit and train highly qualified resources with the potential to assume leadership positions at a later stage
    • Develop plans to help capitalise on individual leader strengths as well as plans to help them improve and address areas of potential growth with real time feedback

    • Manage performance of direct reports through objective setting, continuous support and feedback, and formal appraisal
